Can MK machines work with a generator?
Yes, provided the generator supplies suitable continuous power, stable voltage and proper grounding. Cable length and cross-section must also be considered.
Why must PE and HDPE pipe surfaces be scraped?
Scraping removes the oxidised surface layer and contamination. A uniform, correctly sized scraping zone is essential for a reliable electrofusion interface.
What does barcode mode do?
The scanner reads the fitting parameters encoded according to the relevant barcode standard and transfers them to the welding controller, reducing manual entry errors.
Is manual welding mode available?
Yes. Authorised operators can enter the required voltage and time values manually when the fitting data and project procedure allow it.
How are welding records exported?
Supported MK models retain up to 10,000 cyclic records and can export reports through USB in PDF-compatible form.
How often should the machine be serviced or verified?
The interval depends on usage intensity, project requirements, transport and environmental exposure. Verification should also follow impact, liquid ingress, electronic repair or unusual welding results.
Do you service other brands?
